Banana Pumpkin Smoothie

I often look for recipes that have anti-inflammatory properties. I love this one because it has cinnamon and turmeric in it and it's something a little different from the traditional fruit or veggie smoothie. It sounds like it might be heavy, but it's actually very light and refreshing.

Blend the following ingredients and serve immediately. You may use frozen banana slices in place of ice cubes if you wish. Recipe makes two medium smoothies.

1.5 bananas

1/3rd cup canned pumpkin

1 tsp cinnamon

1/2 tsp pumpkin spice

1/4 tsp turmeric

10 oz almond milk

2 tsp honey or maple syrup

5 ice cubes
