Heel Raise

Who doesn't want to have great looking calves? Heel raises, sometimes called calf raises, will tone your lower legs, but also strengthen and support your feet, ankles and knees!
This exercise is often forgotten, but strengthening the gastrocnemius and soleus muscles can be an important part of an exercise routine. Try 10-20 reps of each exercise and make sure to stretch them out at the end! You can do this exercise just about anywhere. If you can't find a step, just raise your heels up and down from the ground and it will still be effective. You can even do it while you are brushing your teeth!
