Writer's picture: Susan JensenSusan Jensen

Grilling out this weekend? Try this super simple, flavorful combination and get your omega 3's! We grilled copper river salmon (Costco) with a delicious Honey Ginger Teriyaki Sauce (Lunds & Byerlys). We sautéed the mushrooms and added the snow peas for just a few minutes to keep them crunchy!

Omega-3 fatty acids are polyunsaturated fatty acids that are required for many functions of human health but are not produced in the body, which makes it imperative to get them through our diet. Omega-3 fatty acids are known to reduce inflammation and the risk of heart disease. Research shows that these fatty acids aid in brain function, helping us to focus, concentrate and ease symptoms of depression and dementia.
