It takes a certain amount of education, motivation and energy to put the puzzle together and create the healthy picture you envision in the end. Achieving overall health is multidimensional. Are you stressed? What are your emotions? Are these emotions causing you to over eat or crave unhealthy foods? Is your exhaustion or lack of time causing you to leave physical activity at the back door? Health coaching addresses the mental and the physical. I am an ACE certified Personal Trainer and Health Coach. I would love to help you identify the roadblocks that you may not have identified on your own. I have tools to help you put your head in the place it needs to be in order to apply positive behaviors.
We all have roadblocks. Even the health coaches and the personal trainers stumble and fall. If it were easy we wouldn’t have such an enormous obesity problem in the United States and health coaching wouldn’t be such a growing profession. Developing healthy habits is a slow but rewarding process. Maintaining them is even more challenging, but gets easier with time. Having someone jump-start your healthy mission and hold you accountable for a certain period of time is one of the most successful ways to learn, change and achieve!
If you think you are ready to make your health a priority, I can help you with one phone call a week. I will get to know your lifestyle, habits and experiences with an initial consultation. We will clarify where you have been, where you are now and where you want to go. We will define achievable goals and make a plan on how to achieve them. We will talk once a week for up to 30 minutes and I will be available through text or email anytime a question arises. The planned weekly meetings will hold you accountable and help you to learn about yourself and receive valuable information that will benefit you for the rest of your life. The goal is to keep the healthy habits going for a lifetime of wellness.
How the program works:
Initial consultation up to an hour- includes health history, exercise history, goals and expectations.
A personalized coaching program is developed including lifestyle guidance, nutritional education, exercise plans/instruction, and accountability.
Part one includes one phone call a week up to 30 minutes for 8 weeks.
Part two includes a phone call every two weeks for 8 weeks.
*In -person meetings can take place of some calls if needed.
